About Us
Grasshopper's is the creation of Christopher Angeli, President and CEO of Grasshopper’s Catering. Many of our clients have known us as JFM Caterers
for the last 15 years and I recently changed our name due to our ever expanding clientele. The name Grasshopper’s stems from the idea of that is
what we do, we grass hop from one location to another.
At the age of 12 years old I started working for a catering company known as Cameo Caterers as a dishwasher. Two years later, the facility
was purchased and named JFM Caterers at which I continued to work for 15 years as a dishwasher, server, cook, assistant manager, general manager
and executive chef. I grew up in this business and this facility – it has truly become my home. Throughout the years I also worked for the Chart
House, General Manager of the Spectrum, Houlihan’s, Perkins to mention a few. In 1999 I became a partner in JFM Caterers and in 2001 I purchased
the company from the original owner and have been the sole owner since then and I have had most of my milestone memories right in the very building
I now own; my wedding day, my 30th birthday, my mothers’ wedding, my nana’s 80th birthday and many others.
My goal is unwavering; to create a catering company that reflects our wide knowledge of cuisines and the creative ability to incorporate all techniques
and flavors at a chef's disposal to create and develop a menu that will suit the needs of any type of event and any budget.
My commitment to the highest quality and freshest ingredients available is evident by the pride we feel when we orchestrate a client's
spectacular wedding or corporate event. Our staff at Grasshopper's feels that every guest is a V.I.P. and we put all of our knowledge and
creativity to work for you, whether we are assembling a modest cocktail party for 30, or a wedding or business dinner for 250, or a charity
fund-raising event for 800. We will create an atmosphere that reflects you or the ambience you wish to capture.
