Vendor Recommendations:
Need a DJ or band? Photographer, videographer, magician, clown, moon bounces or florist? Our staff works directly with vendors of all sorts who provide audiovisual equipment, lighting, draping, tenting, specialty props, place cards, invitations, party favors, and more. Just inform our sales staff of your particular need and we will be happy to give you our recommendation of vendors whom provide quality services.
Ordering and Processing Rental Equipment:
Due to the varying tastes and budgets of our clients, we offer a large selection of rental equipment. Your choice of tables, chairs, china, glassware, flatware, linens, tabletop accessories, and props are offered through our various vendors at competitive prices. Our vendors and party planners will work with you in coordinating the various rental items to further the envisioned atmosphere of your event.
Event Creation and Development:
Grasshopper's Catering will assist you in creating a memorable event regardless of the occasion. Formal or informal, we will work closely with you to create different possible scenarios or themes for your affair. Once the type of event is planned, we will customize every detail so that the end result will be pleasing both to you and to your guests.
Site Evaluations:
Grasshopper's Catering will be happy to provide our services at any number of sites including private residences, corporate offices, museums, parks, historical sites, and universities. Our event planners will work with you to choose the most suitable site taking into account your guest count, type of event, and the overall atmosphere you are trying to achieve.
Menu and Beverage Planning:
With over 15 years of experience, Grasshopper's Catering will customize a menu for your event suitable to your tastes and budget. We can go into our archives of previous menu selections or work with you to create a new dish that will best fit your needs.
We will be glad to provide non-alcoholic beverage service for your event including sodas, mixers, ice, juice, bar fruit, cocktail napkins and a bartender. Although we do not possess a traveling liquor license for off-site events (both the Regal Ballroom and the Ballroom at Bridgeman's Hall have their own liquor license), we can assist you in making arrangements to purchase alcoholic beverages for your event.
Event Coordination:
Grasshopper's Catering will work hands-on with the coordination of your event. We typically involve ourselves in the planning and execution of the above-mentioned areas as well as working out a timeline for your event. An event supervisor will be on-site throughout the duration of the event to assure that all aspects of the event, including set-up and breakdown, are handled in an efficient and timely manner. Whether it is a small or large event, our staff will guide you through every step of planning the prefect event.
